Coronavirus: Rolls-Royce to cut 9000 jobs – Sky News

The engine maker stated the coronavirus disaster was having a big effect on its enterprise as a result of collapse in air journey.

However CEO Warren East wouldn’t say what number of UK jobs would go.

Rolls-Royce employs about 16,000 employees in its civil aerospace unit within the UK – most of them in Derby.

There are fears the cuts may result in website closures.
