Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi is all set to launch next-generation flagship smartphone today. The Xiaomi Mi 10 will launch via “pure online broadcast” mode, the company stated in its official Weibo account.
Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi revealed a lot about the display on the new phone as well as its charging prowess. According to the leaks, the Mi 10 display will come with a 90Hz refresh rate and the company will also increase the touch sampling rate to 180Hz.

The Mi 10 launch has been scheduled for today, 13 February, 2020 via “online-only broadcast”, maybe due to the coronavirus fears in China. The broadcast will begin at 2 pm CST Asia (11:30am IST) through the official Xiaomi account on Weibo.
Xiaomi Mi 10 expected price:
The Xiaomi Mi 10 is rumoured to come in three variants, the 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage is expected to be priced at CNY 4,200 (approximately ₹43,000), the 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage may carry a price tag of CNY 4,500 (approximately ₹46,000) and the most high-end model with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage is rumoured to be priced at CNY 4,900 (approximately ₹50,200).

According to several leaks and speculations as well as Xiaomi’s teasers ahead of the launch, we are quite equipped when it comes to what features the smartphone may carry.
The Mi 10 is expected to feature a 64MP camera and may be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 865 SoC chipset that will support 5G connectivity. Other rumours also suggest that the phone may feature a quad rear camera setup that will include a 108MP rear sensor.
The successor of Xiaomi Mi 9 model, the smartphone is teased to come with a 90Hz refresh rate and the company will also increase the touch sampling rate to 180Hz. This combination will ensure a smooth user experience without any input lag. The device will feature an AMOLED screen and the maximum brightness of the screen has also been bumped up to 1120 nits.
In terms of charging capacity, the Mi 10 will get 50W fast charging, which is one of the fastest that is available on any smartphone. Wireless charging speed is also impressive at 30W. The phone will be capable of reverse charging other smartphones at 10W. The Mi 10 will house a 4500mAh battery which will take 45 minutes to charge completely with the 50W charger.
